My personal educational philosophy is  is student centered,  that all learning is self learning and that my role is to facilitate that learning process.  Students need to learn the subjects at their own pace and in the ways that best suit them, and in an environment that supports innovation and use of technology. It does not matter if it takes a student more time to learn something.  What matters is that they learn and become come competent and proficient.  Students need to be guided individually, even in groups, in their learning in a way that instills in them a love and enthusiasm to learn.  Often assistance is needed in understanding complex and abstract concepts.  Explaining things in different ways that the students can understand is essential to learning.  For controversial, complex issues, use of my critical analytical rubric achieves a resolution which excels.
